Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy explains how orders from EverestPaints.com are processed, dispatched and delivered.
Order Processing & Dispatch
Orders placed before 11:00am Monday to Friday are normally dispatched the same working day.
Orders placed after 11:00am, on weekends, or on UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Dispatch times refer to the time taken to prepare and release goods to the carrier, not the final delivery date.
While we aim to meet these dispatch targets, they are not guaranteed.
UK Delivery Services
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom using a combination of courier and pallet freight services, depending on the size and weight of the order.
Courier Deliveries
Smaller consignments are shipped via FedEx.
Available services may include:
- Standard delivery
- Next working day delivery
Typical courier delivery timeframes are 1–2 working days after dispatch, depending on the service selected and destination.
Pallet Deliveries
Large or heavy orders are shipped using Palletforce pallet freight services.
Available services may include:
- Standard pallet delivery
- Next working day pallet delivery
Typical pallet delivery timeframes are 1–3 working days after dispatch, depending on the selected service and location.
Pallet deliveries are made kerbside only using tail-lift vehicles and pallet trucks where required.
Delivery Charges
Delivery costs are calculated based on:
- order size and weight
- delivery destination
- delivery service selected
All available delivery options and costs will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
International Shipping
We ship internationally to a number of destinations.
Because international delivery costs, transit times and customs procedures vary significantly between countries, shipping options, delivery estimates, duties and taxes will be calculated and displayed during checkout.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products comply with local regulations and import requirements.
Where applicable, import duties, customs fees or local taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Delivery Estimates
All delivery times shown on the website or during checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to:
- courier or freight carrier delays
- adverse weather conditions
- customs clearance
- transport disruptions
- high seasonal demand
- operational delays within carrier networks
Everest Paints shall not be liable for losses, costs or damages resulting from delayed deliveries where such delays are outside our reasonable control.
Contractors, Labour & Equipment Bookings
Customers should not arrange contractors, labour, machinery hire, installers or scheduled works based solely on estimated delivery times.
Everest Paints will not accept liability for any costs, losses or project delays arising from late delivery of goods.
We strongly recommend that all materials are received and inspected before booking work that depends on them.
Delivery Access Requirements
For pallet deliveries, customers must ensure that:
- the delivery address is accessible to a large goods vehicle
- there is a safe unloading area available
- someone is present to accept the delivery
Pallet trucks require solid, level ground such as concrete or tarmac. They cannot operate on gravel, grass, steep slopes or uneven surfaces.
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access or unavailable recipients, the carrier may return the goods to the depot and additional redelivery charges may apply.
Missed Deliveries & Redelivery Charges
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- no one is available to accept the goods
- access is restricted
- delivery instructions are incorrect
the carrier may reattempt delivery or return the goods to their depot.
Where a redelivery is required, additional delivery charges may apply.
Damaged or Missing Goods
All deliveries should be inspected immediately upon arrival.
If damage or shortages are identified:
- Where possible, note the issue with the delivery driver.
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to pursue claims with the carrier.
Transfer of Risk
Responsibility for goods transfers to the customer once delivery has been completed at the delivery address.
Ownership of goods remains with Everest Paints until full payment has been received.
Delivery Restrictions
Some products may be classified as hazardous goods for transport. Delivery services and locations may therefore be restricted depending on carrier regulations.
Where delivery restrictions apply, this will normally be indicated during checkout.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be provided so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.
